Coming back from injury? We get you back on the road

An injury can be a major setback, and getting back to running can feel daunting. Our programmes help you return safely and with confidence. We address the root cause of the injury, strengthen the weak links and work on strength, stability and flexibility.

With a tailored training plan we reduce the risk of new injuries, so you can run long distances pain-free again.

Our approach

At MBT we help runners get stronger and stay injury-free. With a standardised screening we map out the points of attention and imbalances that can affect your performance or raise your injury risk.

Our active approach is built on movement and training, so you arrive at the start stronger, more resilient and properly prepared.

Recreate

We work through a tailored programme that targets weaknesses in the body. Movement is at the centre of our treatment method. With specific exercises tuned to you, we build your body's capacity to handle load and help you develop sustainable movement habits. This reduces the chance of recurring symptoms.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Who is running coaching for?

Everyone: from beginners training for their first 5K to experienced marathon athletes. We adapt the plan to your level and your goal.

What does a coaching programme look like?

We start with an intake and a screening of running technique, strength and endurance. Then we build a personal plan with training, strength work and check-ins. Programmes are adjusted based on progress and recovery.

What is the difference with a running analysis?

A running analysis is a one-off assessment of your running technique. Running coaching is a longer programme with guidance, training plans and adjustments over time. The analysis can be part of the coaching programme.

Do I get strength training too?

Yes, strength training is a standard part of the programme. Strong legs and a strong core reduce injury risk and improve your running technique. We train in our own sports facility.

Can I start after an injury?

Yes. We build a return-to-run programme with the cause of the injury as the starting point. Safe build-up, reinforcing the weak links, and full running only when that is responsible.

Is running coaching reimbursed?

Coaching is not covered by physiotherapy insurance. When there is an injury, part of the programme may be reimbursed as physiotherapy. We help you sort this out before you start.

Cedrine helped me enormously with my recovery from recurring knee complaints. Within a few months the strength difference between both legs was minimal.

I've been helped tremendously by multiple members of the team for various issues over the course of about a year now. Not all team members have been my PT, but I have met them all and they are all great.
